For over 25 years of experience, our Workshop follows the canonical and aesthetic rules of traditional iconography, written precisely in the same tradition as old byzantine icons, which have developed through the past nearly two thousand years. Most of our technique is drawn from old sources of the Macedonian & Cretan school.

Our Workshop offers the following services:
Full study and design planning of the church:
Full plans with scale describing and presenting how and where saints and scenes will be placed in the church according the rules of orthodox tradition. A final color layout will be presented for approval prior execution.

Murals:
Apart from painting on walls, we also paint on canvas, or wood, etc,…Our frescoes can be either performed directly on the wall… or on canvas, depending on conditions, proximity or availability of the church. Canvas is known of its durability, providing an excellent safety to humidity, wall brakes or deterioration by time.

Portable Icons:
We can write Icons upon commission for your Altar Iconostasis, or for private collectors who wish a traditional masterpiece in their collection, (including ordinary gold leaf or Water Gilding). Using traditional colors of iconography like the old painters, pigments derived from natural stones, provide incomparably better color range and quality than acrylics, plastic or industrial colors.

Icons Restoration :
No paint escapes the process of aging, which over time leads to a change in its appearance. This phenomenon of degradation affects the whole structure of the painting. the precise knowledge is needed, to recognize and act in a way choosing either adapting conservation (preventive measures) or restoration (healing techniques), and this is where our experience begins…
